There are no precise counts of recruiters in Silicon Valley, and no one knows how many are unemployed. But interviews with more than two dozen recruiters suggest that the recession has slammed the profession particularly hard, both here and across the country.
没有知道准确的数字硅谷到底有多少职业招聘者和失业的招聘者。但是通过20多个采访发现，经济衰退严重打击了这个职业，包括硅谷和整个美国。
Frank分析说 “The big downside possibility is that China Recruiters may soon be in the same situation as US Recruiters. China is the end of the line when it comes to the production of goods and services. ” 中国在食物链的末梢，所以可能中国的招聘者也会和美国一样慢慢的感到巨大的压力。
其实这样的压力早已来到，招聘网站裁员、猎头失业、企业HR减薪或下岗都在周围随处可见。
中国的情况比美国还是乐观很多，许多公司依然在招聘(也包括猎头公司)。但作为一个失业的招聘者，是否有足够的经验和能力来替雇主创造价值、能否有一个适应经济危机的好心态是找到好工作的重要条件。
